Anne-Marie Blaire, Chief Digital Officer, Grupo Cortefiel
As Chief Digital Officer for Grupo Cortefiel, Anne-Marie is responsible for leading the transformation of the Spanish retailer’s portfolio of fashion brands in Europe and globally. The Grupo Cortefiel eCommerce digital footprint includes five branded sites (SPF.com, WomenSecret.com, PedrodelHierro.com, Cortefiel.com and FiftyFactory.com) selling in 25 countries, multi-brand marketplaces and through a joint venture in China.
Anne-Marie joined Grupo Cortefiel in 2014 after spending ten years leading Black Dog Strategy Partners, Inc., a strategy advisory firm focused on working with CEOs and brands in the areas of strategy, brand development, digital, research and marketing. Her client portfolio included Stuart Weitzman, St. John, bebe, Claire’s, Bath & Body Works, The Limited, Macy's, Chicco's, American Greetings and Teleflora. Anne-Marie developed her passion for digital retail transformation in 1998 when she led Victoria’s Secret in the development and launch of their eCommerce operation, which was profitable from day one.
At LBrands (formerly Limited Brands), she led the enterprise-wide digital strategy for $10 billion portfolio of women's apparel, lingerie and beauty brands. Prior to eRetailing, Anne-Marie began her career in financial services, where she helped to launch the first national online bank in 1996. Passionate about branding and consumer behavior, digital has always been Anne-Marie’s medium of choice!
Grupo Cortefiel successfully re-platformed 5 brands in over 25 countries, overcoming 4 years by working with Demandware, A Salesforce company versus the delays experienced on their previous platform. Another benefit for the company
of working with us was seen on Black Friday 2015 – when Grupo Cortefiel doubled revenue on “Springfield” versus the previous year.
